Some of these are mp4s downloded from YouTube, these are SUPER glitchy. Now import footage from a CF card in DNxHD codec. I've even re-rendered some older videos to compare against the Vegas 11 output, and the Vegas 14 ones look way, way worse. Data moshing is a style of art where videos are edited in such a way that only the moving parts of videos update. In this video, we learn how to edit with Sony Movie Studio / Vegas Video. I rendered out a few files as main concept mp4s, to see if this glitch was limited to the previews, but the rendered out video files look just as bad. There are also a lot of small datamosh looking glitches happening every 3-5 seconds or so. It reminded me of windows movie maker, where you could 'see' the keyframe, then the scene gets progressively blurrier for 1-3 seconds until the next keyframe kicks in. (it's set to good(half), exactly the same as Vegas 11) ![]() I opened a file from Vegas 11 in 14, and I noticed that the preview looked terrible. I've been using Vegas 11 for years, just made the switch to 14 earlier today. News 1.4.0: Added Datamix (datamosh: apply a clip P-frames on another clip I-frame) 1.3. ![]()
